Abstract

This paper deals with the subject of alimony lite under the new Brazilian Civil Procedural Code. It analyses the difficulties and uncertainties that might arise from the current broad concepts of family and kinship, which derive from the modern techniques of human assisted reproduction.

Graduada em Ciências Jurídicas e Sociais pela Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de Taubaté (1977). Mestre em Direito pela PUC-SP (1993). Doutora em Direito pela PUC-SP (1998). Livre-Docente em Direito Civil pela PUC-SP (2004). Professora Livre-Docente de Direito Civil da PUC-SP. Membro da Academia Paulista de Direito, Academia Paulista de Letras Jurídicas e da União dos Juristas Católicos de São Paulo, da Associação de Direito de Família e Sucessões e da Associação Brasileira de Pesquisadores de História e Genealogia. Compõe a corpo de árbitros da Câmara de Arbitragem da FIESP.
