Abstract

This article shows the importance of the Diplomatic Agreement celebrated between Brazil and the Catholic Church, thru the Holy See. The jurists, in general, do not know the mentioned pact neither its power towards the solidification of the Christian Values in the Brazilian society. In this commentary, we study the most relevant parts of the agreement.

Analista judiciário lotado no Gabinete do Desembargador Federal Nery Júnior. Doutor em Direito Canônico pela Pontifícia Universidade Lateranense, do Vaticano. Professor da Faculdade de Direito Canônico São Paulo Apóstolo (Arquidiocese de São Paulo). Membro da Sociedade Brasileira de Canonistas  SBC) e da Academia Marial de Aparecida (AMA). Entre diversas obras, autor de “Católico até debaixo d’água” (Editora LTr, 2016).
