Doutor e Livre-docente pela Faculdade de Direito da USP, onde ministra aulas na graduação no Departamento de Direito do Trabalho e da Seguridade Social e, em pósgraduação, na área de concentração em Direitos Humanos. Professor da Escola Paulista de Direito Social. Juiz Federal.
